Linguistic Services Manager (Brno, Czech Republic)

Position: Linguistic Services Manager
Status: One-year contract
Location: Brno, Czech Republic
Reporting to: Linguistic Services Group Manager

Responsibilities

• Management of freelance reviewers – selection, qualification, contracting and rate negotiations with freelance reviewers in international locations, training of reviewers, managing their development and evaluation
• Corporate linguistic quality management – helping define linguistic quality management concept and linguistic QA methodology and policies, provide linguistic support to company project teams
• Linguistic support to company partners – training and development in terms of linguistic processes, tools and linguistic quality management, linguistic support regarding terminology, style and query management processes during localization projects
• Linguistic services for the company's customers – communication with the company's customers regarding linguistic quality, terminology and style management, analysis of customer's feedback, solution of linguistic issues with the customers project managers

Qualifications/Skills include

• Linguistic education is a must, preferably with a background in localization or translation services
• Managerial skills
• Perfect command of spoken and written English, other languages a bonus
• Good skills with standard Microsoft Office software
• Good understanding of IT or medical industries is an advantage
• Good communication skills (providing training, communication with customers)
• Must be capable of working under stress, have a flexible attitude to work and excellent problem resolution skills
