Position: Software Developer
Location: Brno, Czech Republic
Status: 1-year contract with the possibility to prolong
Reporting to: Research and Development Manager

We're looking for a Software Developer to join a team developing an innovative web-based translation platform. The ideal candidate is an IT professional with wide range of expertise, creativity and openness to change.

Responsibilities

• Code prototypes and components using the latest tools, languages, platforms, libraries and environments
• Participate in design of overall system architecture
• Research and experiment with new platforms and environments
• Work with testing groups to develop testing strategy for your work
• Create or help create technical and end-user documentation
• Actively share technical knowledge with developers and others
• Contribute to continuous improvement of software development processes
• Provide management with reports on progress

Qualifications/Skills include

• IT university degree preferred
• Very good knowledge of one or more computing languages such as JavaScript, Python, C# (highly welcome), C++
• Knowledge of SQL database
• Knowledge of ASP.NET platform is highly welcome
• Knowledge of Scrum development process is highly welcome
• Knowledge of development environments such as Visual Studio, Scrum
• Openness to change
