Tomas Kratochvil
CEO
Prior to becoming Moravia's CEO in 2010, Tomas Kratochvil served as the company's Managing Director, with overall responsibility for revenue producing units including operations, sales and marketing. Previously, Mr. Kratochvil directed Moravia's operations for many years, and was instrumental in architecting the company's production capabilities, skills and infrastructure, turning them into Moravia's primary and distinctive competitive advantage.
Mr. Kratochvil is based in the company's headquarters office in Brno, Czech Republic. He joined Moravia in 1996, graduated in Electrical Engineering from the Brno University of Technology.
Arturo Quintero
Co-owner
Arturo Quintero is based in Moravia's headquarters in the Czech Republic and spends extensive periods of time in Moravia's other locations. Mr. Quintero has been with Moravia since 1992, and together with Ms. Janku has been the entrepreneurial driving force behind the company's growth.
Mr. Quintero has been an active member of the industry for many years, is a frequent speaker and writer, and has had direct involvement in many industry initiatives and events. He is also dedicated to promoting the translation and localization industry at large, and often speaks and lectures on the topic of global strategies and management. Mr. Quintero speaks Spanish, English and Czech, and is functional in Polish.
He helps a number of non-profit associations in an advisory role, and actively supports numerous charitable activities globally, most importantly those in support of children in developing countries.
Jiri Cervenka
Chief Financial Officer
Jiri Cervenka manages Moravia's global finance team and is responsible for the company's worldwide accounting, financial reporting and financial control functions. Mr. Cervenka has more than 15 years experience in managing international and corporate finance. Prior to joining Moravia in 2000 as Financial Director, Mr. Cervenka was with the financial auditing services division of Ernst & Young Czech Republic.
Based in company's headquarters office in Brno, Czech Republic, Mr. Cervenka has an engineering degree from the Brno University of Technology and holds the internationally recognized title of Chartered Certified Accountant.
Premek Vala
Chief Information Officer
Premek Vala manages the Information Technology department at Moravia and has responsibility for the company's global infrastructure, information systems, research and development, systems development, and service desk functions.
Based in the company's Brno, Czech Republic headquarters, Mr. Vala is with Moravia since 1994. He graduated in Electrical Engineering from the Brno University of Technology and later studied management at the CMC Graduate School of Business.
Mr. Vala is actively involved in developing a number of innovative technology solutions that Moravia provides, and represents the company in several technology-focused bodies, associations and at other industry initiatives.
Kamil Svec
Chief HR Officer
Kamil Svec is in charge of Moravia's Human Resources globally. Based in the headquarters office in Brno, Czech Republic, he joined Moravia in 2009. Previously, he was with Hewitt Associates, the leading international company providing complex HR consulting services, where for nine years he led the consulting division in the Czech Republic. Prior to Hewitt Associates, Mr. Svec worked at Spanish consulting firm Uryas in Madrid and at the management consulting practice of Deloitte in the Czech Republic.
Mr. Svec received a pan-European CEMS master's degree in management at the Copenhagen Business School in Denmark and a master's degree in business administration from the Prague University of Economics. His professional education also includes a Human Resources Management program at the University of Stirling in Great Britain.
Mr. Svec is a leading specialist in a number of key human resources areas, including workforce engagement, organizational effectiveness, compensation and benefits, and intra-company communication.
