Moravia Announces Award of Symantec's Norton Antivirus 2003 QA
Brno, Czech Republic - August 1, 2002
Moravia IT, one of the largest localization companies in Europe, has been awarded a project to provide quality assurance validation of Symantec's Norton Antivirus (NAV) 2003 product. Working closely with Symantec localization personnel, Moravia will play a leading role in assuring the quality of the European-language product releases.
Moravia was awarded the project following the successful completion and subsequent release of Symantec's NAV 2002 update into 12 languages. After Moravia proved its expertise in the NAV 2002 project for the Eastern European languages, where Moravia is considered the world leader in localization, Western European languages were added to the scope of work.
Ranked by IDC as the leading provider of Internet security solutions in Western Europe, Symantec has an experienced localization team, which insists on quality, dedication, and flexibility from localization vendors. "At Symantec, our criteria for a continued working relationship with our vendors is not just a question of cost. We also expect quality, value and consistency," said John Kennedy, Localization Manager at Symantec. "Our vendors must also go the extra mile to meet deliveries and use initiative to solve problems. Moravia delivers in all of these categories."
"Moravia has a longstanding and valued partner relationship with Symantec," said Katerina Forstingerova, Chief Executive Officer of Moravia IT. "By maintaining a consistent team of project managers and engineers dedicated to the Symantec account, we are able to retain knowledge between projects. This prevents asking the client the same questions over again, and allows us to quickly and effectively respond to Symantec's project needs. Moravia looks forward to the continued relationship with Symantec."
