Moravia IT's CEO, Katerina Forstingerova, Participates in Selecting the World Entrepreneur of the Year Award Winner 2002
Brno, Czech Republic - June 5, 2002
Katerina Forstingerova, Chief Executive Officer of Moravia IT, one of the largest localization companies in Europe, joined an international panel in selecting the Ernst & Young World Entrepreneur Of The Year 2002.

Forstingerova is the only representative of the localization industry ever to be awarded the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year (2000). She was also a World finalist in the 2001 event.
"It was an honor to be part of the jury. As a past winner for the Czech Republic, I have personal experience of the benefits winning such a prestigious award brings," said Forstingerova.
"Meeting other entrepreneurs from around the world allows us to share our business philosophies. At Moravia, our continued success is based on a sense of honor, teamwork and shared responsibility. We strongly believe true professionalism cannot be achieved without observing a code of ethics."
The panel of 10 judges from around the world, including John Wall, president of NASDAQ International, as well as Forstingerova, named Germany's Stefan Vilsmeier, founder of BrainLAB GmbH, as the Ernst & Young World Entrepreneur Of The Year 2002. The neurosurgical software entrepreneur has been chosen out of a selection of 22 outstanding worldwide entrepreneurs.
During an impressive awards ceremony held in Monte Carlo, James S. Turley, chairman of Ernst & Young Global, emphasized the important role that entrepreneurs are playing in the world economy.
"Entrepreneurs are among the most prominent leaders who drive economic development and make the world a better place. By investing in its Entrepreneur Of The Year program Ernst & Young fosters the role of entrepreneurs as change agents for good and awards their contribution and initiatives," said Turley.
Forstingerova endorsed the sentiments expressed by Turley.
"All of the finalists deserve recognition for the entrepreneurial spirit they are fostering not only in their own countries, but around the world. Moravia IT was founded with this spirit in mind, and it forms the cornerstone for our global expansion," said Forstingerova.
